I don't think anyone really looks at our super exciting family blog but I can't sleep and so I thought for my sake I would finally update our blog with all the super excitingness that has been this summer!

We now have a Cub Scout! He loves it!!!
We went to about 3 stages of the Tour of Utah bike race! It was so exciting to see this race in our own back yard. Todd and I LOVE watching all the Pro bike races on TV and so this is always really exciting for us to be able to actually see it live and see some of the big names here is Utah (I know, I know, no one else really cares but we enjoy it all)

 Time Trial start ramp.
Team Radio Shack cares and bikes. I love seeing all the cars follow the bikers!
And of coarse Todd is in second heaven with these bikes so close, tempting to take just one, who would notice?
And there is of coarse the excitement of having a baby girl! My sister always said that if I got pregnant with a girl then she would through me a shower, and it just so happens that she was in town to throw me one. So between my Sister, my Mom and my sister-in-laws, I was so spoiled. I couldn't believe all the work they put into this just for me and little Lucy. For anyone who cares to know and is curious, my dad always called me his little Lacey Bug and I loved that nick name growing up (my sister still calls me Buggy or Bug) so when we fell in love with the name Lucy (while I was pregnant with Trevor) I wanted to carry on the nick name with her. So hence the lady bug themed shower. My mom even decorated there little red Honda to look like a lady bug.

A very cute diaper cake done by my talented sister-in-law Cassie! I hated having to take it apart but we can use the diapers!
Mindy and my mom made these cookies and there super cute party favors! Once again, I was so over whelmed with all the work that they had done. It was amazing and something that I will definitely never forget!
Then there is probably one of the most exciting things that happened at the end of summer, Todd finally graduated with his Masters degree from BYU in the science of nursing (he's a Family Nurse Practitioner, well, almost, now for the state testing, but soon hopefully)! I am so proud of my hubby! He is amazing and never ever complains about work or school. I really feel so blessed to have married a man that is such a hard worker and who loves helping people. I am constantly amazed and impressed by his knowledge and ability in health care! Way to go Todd!

Todd's third home (I said third because he was always working full time all through the program so he spent more time at work I think). Lets just say, this summer felt pretty lonely and stressful. I'm glad it's over because between the pregnancy and Todd doing his 200 + clinical hours and working full time it wasn't our funnest summer ever, but well worth it in the long run. I now have exactly one more month of this pregnancy and Todd is waiting for the date to be able to take his state test (which should also be happening sometime this month), so thank goodness it's almost over and hopefully we can move on to bigger and more exciting things like a new job (hopefully) and the arrival of Lucy Ann Hamblin!
