April 24, 2011 Todd's Birthday & Easter

Notice how quickly sugar takes effect. David is jumping all over and Jonas is doing high kicks. I would say that it takes seconds for sugar to enter the blood!!!!!!
Happy Easter and Happy Birthday to my wonderful Husband! I have decided that I don't like having 2 things to celebrate on one day. It was too hard to figure out which should receive more attention. I made my first chocolate cheese cake for Todd's birthday and I must say that it was delicious. I will be making it again for sure!

Trevor's 3rd Birthday (wow time fly's)

3 years ago a sweet and wonderful little boy entered our lives, lets celebrate!!!!
Trevor wanted a Superman Party. I made this cake for the party with my family.
Trevor was so excited about his Superman Cake!!
This was his Superman party with Todd's family! 2 birthday parties, lucky!!!

What would a Superman party be like with out Superman?!

Happy Birthday my little Superman!!!!

Spring Break- Moab, UT April 13-16, 2011

Jonas at a bike park in Moab!
Todd, Jacob & Ryan were riding porcupine rim trail and found that they had to cross a river to continue on the trail!!!
The famous Slick Rock picture (Todd's bike was the tripod)
Jonas and I on the practice loop of slick rock. Jonas loves the practice loop and that's all I could do since I was about 4 months prego doing it!
 More on the practice loop!

Even though it was barely in the 60's in Moab the kids still really wanted to go swimming in the RV park pool!
Todd and Trevor spent most of there time in the hot tub (smart boys)!!

Poor Little Trevor!!!

Not the best picture because I took it with my phone but you get the idea! We had to go to the ER tonight because earlier this evening Trevor and David were wrestling (a normal occurrence with my boys) but then David said "Oh No". I was in the next room so I came in to see what had happened and Trevor was upset but not crying but flinging around so I went to pick him up and I almost couldn't even do that because of his flinging. I got him to the couch and when I put him down, because I could hardly hold him, he collapsed. So then I of course grabbed him to hold him and then I saw the scariest thing that I have EVER seen as a mother. Trevor's eyes started to glaze over and role to the back of his head, he wasn't breathing, his lips were turning blue and he was stiff with his one arm reached out stiff and his hand in a tight fist. I told David to go get Todd but then I started screaming to him. By the time Todd had gotten down stairs Trevor started crying and holding his head. I guess he fell back into the lower part of the couch that is made of wood and hit his head pretty hard. Poor David thought that we were mad at him when we asked him what happened. He kept saying it was an accident, we were just playing, I didn't mean to. So we decided that we'd rather be safe then sorry so we took him to the ER. He was so cute there. The doctor looked him over, talked to us and then determined that he had suffered a convulsive concussion and that it is very common amongst rugby players. So that's that I guess. Now I just check on him sleeping about every 10 minutes because I'm a mom and that's what I do. Todd says that I do enough worrying for the both of us plus more. All I know is I hope that I never have to see any of my children like that again. When I was holding him and he looked as bad as he did I was so afraid that I was loosing him. My little Trevor is such a special guy, I can't and don't want to imagine my life without him. What a night!!! One positive thing about tonight though, we were in and out of the ER in about 30 minutes. Fastest ER visit ever. Way to be Orem Community Hospital!

This of coarse sums up our lives lately, biking, pizza, park!!!

Nothing very exciting to blog about lately but since it has been brought to my attention by Andrea that I suck at blogging I decided that maybe it's a good time to get back in the groove since I spend a lot of time laying around because a certain tinny little baby wont let me have a little more energy. So here I am, back to blogging our super exciting life. This is what has been happening lately. Since I have been feeling pretty lousy (I decided they should call it the worst trimester instead of the first trimester) Todd has been so good about getting the boys out of the house and getting, well, what else, pizza. Thank goodness the boys, including Todd, could live on pizza because we've been eating a lot of Hot and Ready's from Little Caesar's. So they ride to get pizza, eat the pizza and then off to the park while I lay at home. Yup, pretty exciting.
As for the pregnancy, everything is going well thus far. We got to see him a couple times and he's a little wiggler. I have just a couple more days and then I'm into the second trimester (thank goodness). This really has been the hardest first trimester yet and mom said that she remembers hers got worse with each one so I'm pretty darn sure that this will be our last. So I'm trying to make the most of it all. It is nice that as the weather gets better, I start to feel better.
